Geez, this thread has been brought back from a 18 month slumber!
As far as W68, the last two items you mentioned (steering and LSD) are parts of Y87. The tires and dual outlet exhaust are features of both W68 and also Y87.
In the brochure, I believe you are reading from the page with the stopwatch on it across from the page with the red W68 bird.
"Supporting performance upgrades in the 3800 V6 Performance Package include dual outlet exhaust, wider, lower-profile tires, a faster steering gear, and a limited-slip differential." They are telling the reader what is included in Y87 AKA the "3800 V6 Performance Package." W68 is called "Sport Appearance Package."
(Why yes, as a matter of fact, I do still have my brochure ;) )
