• T-tops FINISHED!!! PICS INSIDE

The driver's side rear one leaks a little when I wash the car, but it's nothing a small rag won't take care of.

Unless you're looking up close and KNOW what you're looking for, you can't ever tell that this car rolled off the factory floor as a hardtop.

I know, I know... "But Mike, you live in 'the land of eternal winter', look at it out there!" Yeah, and look at my HVAC settings on the pic you can see the interior.... the heat is MAXED. It's about 45 degrees when I took these pics earlier this afternoon.

    Very nice!!

Did you have only the newly exposed areas painted red, or did you redo the entire top?

All I had to prime and paint is the area under the tops, the newly exposed area, and the border of that... the 'seam' between the tops and the roof, if you will.

NICE FINISH! It looks factory! How much did the final total come out to be for the entire conversion?

T-Tops are awesome! Enjoy the "new" ride..

I have 0 experience doing anything like this... It is not a professional job. It looks like it though. I'll take some closeups tonight and show you what I'm talking about......

I could probably pay a body shop a few hundred to finish it up and look PERFECT but this is good enough for me and the money I have. I will do that if I ever go to sell the car.

After it was all said and done, between $650 and $700, and about 40 hours of labor put into it by myself.

Thanks for the props, everyone! If the shear enjoyment of having didn't make the whole project worth it, all of the props do. I you guys! :D
