      AWESOME, MIKE!!!!!

The car looks great; the finishing on the T tops looks flawless.

Welcome to the T top world!

BTW, the background in some of those pics (as well as the Feb collision photos shows you live in a great area.

Night driving under the stars with the tops off is a true pleasure that few get to enjoy.

      Congrats again!
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I can safely say this is the first T-top conversion I have ever seen. And if I wasn't told it wasn't there from the factory I wouldn't have suspected any less. Does the headliner fit up good? Some sort of a write up would be a great idea, I'm sure theres alot of hard tops that would love to know how to do this and maybe seeing how it's done would take a bit of fear away. Defeniatley something I would never try without a good how-to laying around. I wouldn't trade my T-tops for anything!! Hope you like them

very nice buddy. i know, its hard to do it when everyone tells you to just trade it in and get a new one. well they dont do the math. I wanted a manual, i could not of gotten my car exactly with a manual for $700 at a dealarship with a trade in.

First off, here are the closeups of where you can see that it wasn't a factory job. A friend and I are going to re-finish it this summer which will hopefully make it look a little better, when it's warmer outside. But this will do for now. As you can see, the cut is not perfectly straight. Again, I'm not too worried about it.

Thanks! As beautiful as it is here, I still hate it. I just can't sanely tolerate 8+ months of winter-like weather every year. Plus it's almost ALWAYS overcast. I'm fixing to move AWAY from here in a few years. Also, I'm waiting for a night that isn't below freezing so I can do some star-gazing thru the open tops. It'll be mid-late June before that happens.

There has been a notable increase in windnoise, but not unbearable. I've only riden in 1 factory-t-topped car once nad that was Dominic's old firebird down the 1/8th in Florida last summer. Other than that, I have no idea how much louder if any factory t-topped cars are. I have a good feeling if it is any louder a factory t-topper, it's only VERY slightly.

The headliner fits up PERFECT. I made sure of it before I started cutting. I have a pretty detailed writup that can be seen here: T-top Conversion Writeup That link is also in my signature.

You guys are a little more hearty up there... it's 55-60 before the tops come out and the shorts come on.....

To a Floridian, 60 degrees is "Parka/heater/ski-pants/fly south for the winter" weather..... :D I hope, some day I'm that way too. GOD I HATE WINTER. I'm making plans to move out of this place as soon as I possibly can.

I want t-tops. But, what I want more is that lil convertible deal that the hard top corvettes/porches have. Its very similar to a T-Top, but w/o the bar in the middle. Could it be done as nicely as you did yours, do you think?
