The reason the paint color looks off in the picture is because of the flash on the camera off the new vs. old clear. The clear coat is newer on the front of your car then the hood so it hasn't gone through the normal wear and tear of every day driving. That's not rice at all man.... if that is rice, then call me a RICER with my 17x9.5" TT II's and dual exhaust (you know... since my car didn't come with dual exhaust)!!! :D

doin nothing of the kind, I'm happy as it is, but someday I might change the firebird badges on the door to the newer ones because I'm having problems with wax getting caked in between the letters.

Sweet! Another bird with a T/A bumper, I think that it is cool to be one of the few that have the T/A front end, I like it alot - maybe my opinion is a little biased though. ;) Lots of people say "I like your trans am" too! Check my sig for a pic if you want.

There's absolutely nothing rice about interchanging various firebird/transam/formula parts...cosmetic...etc. It's the same family. It's not like you are writing Firehawk on the side or something...you needed a front end and you changed to the one you thought looked better. Heck, I've thought about putting some v6 firebird tail lenses on my car...only because someone hit one of my original formula tails with a stick or rock and cracked it and the stock lenses would let the lights show better through the blackouts.

Adding, or interchanging performance parts is not rice. Interchanging or adding appearance parts can be rice. :D Especially when a car looks like another, faster car , which it is not. [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]
It doesn't matter whether it is rice or not. If you like it, do it, but be aware of the fact that some people will think of it as rice; though if you like it, I doubt you'll really care. ;)

Hate to be flame bait here, but im compulsive about this. When you say "in IMO" you are actually saying "in in my opinion." Im sure it was a typo, but like I said, im an acronym nazi. Same thing when people say vin number or atm machine.
