I have neon lights under my dash under my seats and in the back of my car right know i have them wired up to 3 switches one for each set. What i want to do is make it where they come on when i open the doors or when i switch the switch how do i do this??
ok i know who to make them light up one way or the other but not both. i hooked them up to the switch at the door so that they come one with the interior lights know but how do you also make it to where you can use a switch at the same time??
Ok go buy a relay and hook it into the wire from the dome light. That is your signal wire then hook the relay up to where the power wire is set up when the dome triggers the relay it sends power to the neons. Then hook your switch into the neons after the relay and your ready to go.

ok you want me to take the power wire from the domelight and hook it to the relay and then a power a wire from the battery to the relay that will make them light up when the doors are opened then take a power wire from the battery to the switch and then to the neons rights?? that will alow me to run them with the switch. Another question is what kind of relay to get?? Do i just go to autozone and ask of a relay or what??
Just ask autozone for a 30 amp relay. I think that is what you need.
