You don't need to weld anything on just cut off the sides basically.

exactly and there is a t-top kit out there to make your hard top into t-tops.

do a search here. A couple of guys has already done it. If you cut the top off your car copletely you will be making a huge and very DANGEROUS mistake.

The stock tops were made to be cut to create t-tops, but do not whack off the entire top ghetto style.

I've got detailed instructions and pictures in my signature from my t-top conversion project. The "Roof" is just a fiberglass top that's glued down to the t-top beam in the middle, and the 2 side beams, which are removed as part of the project. YOUR HARDTOP ALREADY HAS T-TOPS IN IT

Speed Automotive has a conversion "kit" that comes with everything you need except a headliner and windshield trim.

The one thing I MUST emphasize that you do is RESARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH! Know EXACTLY what you're getting into before you do it. THe link in my sig also has links to 2 others who have done the same project and which i used for a guide in doing mine.

        Good luck!

Hey Pred are you doing the job yourself or are you getting a shop in Georgia to do it for you?
