Thanks Raven. SQ buffs will talk down about putting the tweets there because of the imaging from the windshield reflections and also cause they're far away from the mids, but I'm not concerned with left to right separation, and I like having the sound above the dash. My knees block the sound from the factory locations (I'm 6'2") and I want to keep the footspace that kickpanels would take away. For me, it sounds great. Clean, clear sound. I also don't really want the tweeters pointed directly at my ears, I tried that once and it was way too hard on my ears. As for the amps, I cut a piece of 3/4" mdf and placed it above the deck underneath the carpet. I cut out holes for the anchors in the deck, and if you cut it to the right dimensions, it will squeeze in there and stay tight, and then you can drill the amps into that, safe and it works. If it rattles at all, as mine did at first, I just shoved a sheet of foam under the board, and it's solid and quiet now. As for the decals, I'm not huge on that. I'm thinking of shaving the side emblems and maybe that line that runs down the door, and clearing the front amber sidemarkers. I am accenting it red, but I want to keep it just that, accenting. I don't want it to dominate the car and look cheezy, I like a clean smooth look. I painted my calipers, and the red from the rear tailights accents it in my opinion. I also have a red light over my license plate, and little subtle things like that. I might eventually do a little red illumination, but only time will tell.

Ahhhhhhh HA!! Thats a good idea, I never would have thought of that. I hope it'll be enough to hold that sub down. I don't think I would have a problem with the sound seperation you were talking about, so I think I'll be putting tweets there too. Thanks for the reply
