Like where is the tint peeling, if it is the rear window do not use a razor blade! Some body in my town, who did the tint on my brother's bird, screwed up the first time when they did the tint and when they took it off, all the lines were gone. They best way is to have a professional do this so they are liable for the damage, if they do any. I don't want tint on my car because of this happening and were i live i haven't seen a decent job on anybody's car.

-The easiest way is to make a soap and ammonia mixture do not use a lot of ammonia it will fade/bleach the plastic.

-Spray it on the window, Then place a black plastic bag on the window against the mixture. This forms a gas to help remove the tint. Let it set out in the sun to help the reaction.

-I can't really say on the time bc of the temperature outdoor affects it too. When peeling the tint off it "should" come off easily.

-There might be a little bit of residue left. To get it off. I used DX330 ACRYLI-CLEAN Wax & Grease Remover. Its made by PPG.

This is just a really brief directions on how to remove it. There are other ways I heard of such as steam, using simple green and the good old razor blade too.

its becose the tinting doesn't stick in the top, today i made a 97 camaro back glass,i take like 10 min .there's to way to doet, some people cut the top of the film(the difroster points and lleave the hole top clear) what i do is to cover the hole glass and i put some nail enamel(trasparent is better)on the top of the window,
it works with most of the cars, other car with the same problem is the mustang

Just get it retinted man. I wouldn't risk doing anything like that yourself on the rear window... or the sides even for that matter.
