How bad are the TT's you have now? (dull? full of brake dust?) Cleaning is part of owning nice rims. If it were me, I'd save myself a lot of cash and try to clean and polish up the wheels you have.

no i think you are mis understanding the problem its not that i dont clean them it just takes to long to do it there is no simple way to clean the tt 2's due to their design. if i could have gotten thetm in chrome i would have done it in a heartbeat. anyway im just looking for alternative wheels i agree it is the price of nice wheels but they only stay clean for about 4 days where i live and it takes me atleats an hour on each wheel to get them as clean as i like them so its just a pain in my arse i liked how easy it was to clean my factory chrome wheels. ive thought of jsut taking mine and getting them chrome plated. just so it will be simpler

Guys just zaino the piss out of your rims..

when I was savig for tires I put about 8 coats of Z5 and Z2 on my rims. After the claybaring, prep process...

I jsut wipe the rims and 1.5 months of brake dust comes off and a high shine afterwards. Don't even use wheel cleaner jsut the sam solution I wash my car with.

And yes zaino works on chrome and aluminum, works on all smooth hard surfaces. Just prep and put a few coats on. Easiest rims I have ever cleaned.

The durability and protectiveness is why I bought zaino the shine is a bonus.

I see what you're saying blackbyrd. That does suck if the wheels lose their shine quickly after hours and hours of buffing. (taking mental note because I was thinking of buying TT rims someday, I'll get chrome)

What if you polished them up as best as you could and then applied clear coat over the entire wheel? That cheap clear coat they sell at Autozone would probably peel off. Probably would be better to have a paint shop spray em with clear using a paint gun and a quality clear coat. I also like the 'dipped in chrome' idea, just don't know how much something like that costs.

not to burst your bubble, but i'm pretty damn sure you can get them in chrome. I remember seeing them in a few places for around $400 a wheel.
