I just used some mother's polish and a polishing drill bit. I then cut two pieces of rag to fit over the bit and I used that on the actual wheels because the polishing bit itself is too harsh. What do you think?

no, they're not painted but the cloud up like that after a few months (I have no idea why) so I have to keep them polished to look chrome.

ohhhh, no I don't think they were painted... when I first got my car they were like that and then I used a really harsh chrome cleaner and it completely messed them up so I had to do this to get them back. Ever since I used that cleaner, they cloud up now (I think maybe it took a layer of clear coat off or something).
So, they are polished aluminum... or chrome. And what cleaner exactly did you use on them?
I doubt theyre polished aluminum if they came like that from the factory. I dont know of any camaro ever came with polished aluminum rims.

Oh, and by the way, you should head out to walmart and pick up some two or three dollar chrome valve stem covers. It will really clean up the look of the wheels!
