  • Viper style stripes on a 94 maro

I want to put some viper style black stripes on my car. Was just goig to go with the ones that fit to the grooves of the hood, but a lot of people have those. I saw a white maro with some silver viper style ones that looked really sweet. I dont think that there is a kit. Any ideas on how to do this. I will need o cover the spoiler, under spoiler, rear end, hood, top of car, and the nose of the car. Tip to tip.

I bought these for my camaro http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=50452
The guy gives you a whole LOTTA extra stripes for your money, and you don't need to use the hood section if you don't want. I used the hood section all the way to the rear deck and I still have a LOT of stripes left!! I could probably stripe another camaro if I needed to...

See my website below to look at the pics of the rear deck.

Thanx. I bought the camaro inserts from him a while ago. Good to do business with. That is a pretty good deal. Did you install it yourself? How hard was it to install?

Yes, I did it myself. It took me about 3 hours to line the stripes up and lay down. It was relatively easy to do. The only PITA about it is getting the bubbles out.
Word of advice: DO NOT (I repeat) DO NOT use the squeegie they supply to get the bubbles out! As you are moving it over the stripes, it scratches the hell out of them. Even when they are still wet. I used a small rolling pin I bought at a hobbyshop for $3. Worx excellent!
You will still have small bubbles after the total installation, but park the car outside on a warm day and let the sun do the rest. The heat lays the stripes out real nice.

Thanx, yah I just purchased them today. Excited to get them. They should lookw sweet on my car. Thanx for the tip. One more question. Now how much water did you spray the stripes with, and also if it looks like it isnt going to stick, should I just let it sit? Will it be set once it is dry?

I got a spraybottle, put one or two drops of dish detergent in it, and filled it with warm water. Sprayed the heck outtta the section I was applying the decal. A heavy mist is good to start with. It will start to dry on it's own. You can tell because the stripes become harder to move around. If you need to readjust, pull them up and spray some more mist underneath them. Don't be discouraged, you WILL get water bubbles under the decals. Just take a pin and poke holes in the larger bubbles to squeeze the water out. They come with full directions for application.
Any questions, email me and I'll try to help the best I can.
