Damn that looks sweet as hell!!! Could you please give me some more details, I want to do this too. Like how you put the bird on there, are the mats plastic? Any problems, thanks man.

please dont' take this as a flame. I am just curious. Why do you have "LS1 Motorsports" on the air lid and a 3.8 engine? Anyway, I like what you have done, Red and pewter look awesome together. Good job man

Just to NOT disappoint: the LS1 MOTORSPORTS was successfully removed from the air box tonight. Just a little bit of mineral spirits and gnawing with my fingernailless fingers.

Now what do I put there ... it just looks ... boring

use the same stencil you used on the mats and spray paint the bird on there.

Interesting idea .. why didn;t I think of that. Maybe I was frozen after being in the garage for 2 hours.

                        thanks a lot.

How much tubing did that take? I'm considering doing the same thing (only in blue) and I'm not sure how much to buy. Also, how long did it take?

                            Thanks, Rob

I originally made a stencil of the bird and painted my airlid too. Here's a pic of it Whisperlid

Now its pewter and looks like this awaiting something special in a few weeks :D
