Well, it took 3 months from payment to delivery.
I had to create a fake hotmail account and threaten legal action.
I eventually got the rims for $335 shipped, but no centercaps.
Had to go to Visa to get my money back...got it all back and kept the rims.
Had to buy 4 centercaps from GM for $100.

After all that they're mounted and i've used the extra $$ to help pay for my edge tq converter :D

Ta da...

ps...they're in great shape. This picture doesn't do justice to the 'shiny factor' :D

Those wheels look awesome. May I ask why you had to threaten with legal action? Shady Ebay deal or what?

no offsense nikon, but they look a lot better on his car for some reason (i think its a combination of the pre 98 style and the fact that his car is silver/black).

Those things look awesome man. Congrats on the nice deal you got on them too!

so were those your old wheels and you had them chromed or are they new?

Thanks guys.
I bought these rims off an a-hole in texas(no offense to you good texan's on the board).

He was very friendly and forthcoming right up until i paypal'd my money. Then he became a ghost. No ebay, he found my want ad on camaroz28.com. Took a month and the threatening to get him to send the rims(he had no plans to)... he forgot to pack the centercaps(or did he?)... and another month and a half went by. No word from him so i went to Visa and they refunded my money via paypal.

Anyways, I have the chrome lugs on order.
Yeah theyr'e the stock 16's...but i have limited funds and i love the 5 spoke look on the older cars :D :D :D

Looks great Raven. Yea, sometimes it sucks living up here in Canada and we have to rely on our southern neighbors for aftermarket parts. Too bad there aren't more performance stores here.

How did you get your Visa credited if the rims were recieved? Usually, the bank will put it into dispute first and let you fight it out until you receive the product or get a credit for no receipt of the product. Btw, the car looks real nice..

Me either... I love the states. I just spent 5 years in New Mexico..would move back in a minute. I'm just saying we don't have the luxury of going to a local shop and saying I'll have this, this and this. You know what I'm saying?

Well the insurance Visa provides only covers lost, stolen or damaged parts so i had to dispute the charge on my card. I opened a case with them... told them I had every email to and from the jerk saved, pics of the wheels with the center caps and what i received.

Next thing I know 4 days later I had a credit of the full amount i paid the jerk placed on my card from Paypal. :D

I called Visa in case this was too good to be true and they said they resolved the case with Paypal and under no circumstances would I have to return the merchandise.

So the only thing I dont' know is whether Paypal got the jerk or if he still has my money. From what I understand, if they can't get money out of him they will suspend his account.

So for me it was 3 months of headache that ended with free rims and $100 spent on centercaps So I got the rims for $100 plus installation basically. I guess i'm lucky in the end...i just have to be patient :D
