Spray paint vs. interior

Would this work do you think, if I were to spray it with some high quality paint would I need to make it white first so the color will show, should I prep the surface with a paint sealant first so that the paint will stick to the surface better??? anyone tried this b4???? im going to tommorow just want to know what im getting myself into.

Would it work for the softer material as well, like the main parts of the dash? I was thinking of doing a larger portion of the interior. Is that material impossible to paint?

If it is plastic, you can paint it.
You might be able to "paint" the other pieces, but I see two problems :
A) The are exposed to sun all the time.
B) They are flexible, which could cause the paint to crack.

I have done 12 peices total in my car and it looks great! I sanded everything then used 2 coates of primer 3 of red paint then 2 or 3 clear coates. I will have pics as soon as i scan them.
