• Is Zymol better than Meguire's Gold Class

I'm running out of Meguire's Gold Class. I've been pretty please with it. I've been thinking if I should buy another one.

But I want to know if Zymol is better.

Zaino is a little more costly, and harder to find, but IMO, MUCH better than Meguiars!

I'm not interested in Zaino. It's over priced and you have to buy all their products because they don't recommend mixing with other products. Like I tend to use 3M 3009 and Meguire's car shampoo.

Besides I've parked my car next to a Zaino coated car and I couldn't tell the difference in shine.

Thanks anyway guys. I think I will try Zymol.

I am with you. I think Zaino is overpriced marketing hype. Of course the guys who use it say it is the best. If you spent that much for freaken wax, your brain would tell you it looks better no matter what. I just started using the Zymol and I think it is a very good product and has also been around for years. The best products stick around. Just my opinion, no flames please.

im a zymol guy myself and i dont know about that marketing hype thing considering i had never heard of it until i got on this forumn. but anyway i used to wax houseboats during the summers and i used a variety of products and the one that seemed to last and shine the longest was zymol. and houseboats dont get parked in garages. so the stuff is sun tested and i use it on my car and i have zero complaints.

people will tell you that zaino might not shine the best. BUT it will protect the best. since it actually layers.

This has been my experience. I used to use Meguiar's Professional Class but tried Zaino after hearing folks rave about it. It's been at least 5 months since I put the last coat on due to rain, snow, etc. here in the NE. After all the bad weather and a couple of trips to the salt encrusted roads of PA the shine and finish is still great, better than anything I got after the same period with anything else. Water still beads on it even now.

In Calif. there are three things: Sun, Rain and Dust. Here where I live which is almost desert like. The minute you finish washing your car and waxing it, the dust settles right away. Then when it rains, it beads and then the sun dries it really fast. Zaino or not it will come as a spot unless you wipe it really quick.

I'd definitely recommend the Zymol. It goes for about $15 a bottle but it's definitely worth it. Gets the car real nice and shiny and does a great job at protecting the paint. Plus it smells good too ;) :D

Ardex Flint Glaze Wax. $13 a can and is the most durable wax i've used.

I've been using NuFinish as a base layer and then meguiars as a finishing layer. NuFinish is a polish and gives you a long protection layer like Zaino; Mine lasts for months and still beads up after every raining. It gives a decent shine. If I want the car to be a little shinier then I will add a layer of meguiars on top of the NuFinish. It makes the car shine like crazy; My paint is pretty crappy (Maaco from last guy) but it makes me smile when I finish waxing. Gives it that smooth as glass feel and shine.
My Vote is Nufinish + Meguiars Gold =
