  • Clear lenses!

Well, i bought a set off a guy local, and put them on tonight. I REALLY REALLY like the clear front turn signal lenses. Instead of looking like one of the amber colored DRL's is brighter than the other all the time (so many of our cars do this), they are both bright white!

Now I also out on th rear marker lenses....I am having second thoughts..Anybody seen the clear lenses back there on a silver car? I will try to get pics tomorrow, but I am really thinking of keeping the stock red lenses in there. For all who are debating clear front turn signal lenses, they are NICE!

I've got the clear rear side markers on my car. I think they would look good on silver, especially with clear corners. You can look at mine & see if they change your mind.

Not on my car, mine is a 2000 and I just removed the entire headlamp and assembly, and the corner lenses were right there under the headlamp. It took me under an hour TOTAL to change all of them. I am right at the point of taking the rear marker lenses out, it kind of looks like the lens is gone or something, and there's just a bulb there, like it is not meant to be that way...

I was wondering how much they ran you and where did you get them? I am interested in getting some of the rear side markers for my Silver Camaro.

If you're looking for the rear marker lenses for a silver car, I don't reccomend it. I've had only one person of all the ones I asked about them who actually liked them, and it was a ricer boy. Mine are coming off soon.

Do you have any pics on a silver car? I might just have to buy yours. How much you selling them for?

I'll try to get some pictures, I have no digi camera of my own. I haven't even thought about selling them, but we'll see.

I am surprised that you do not like clear rear markers for your lighter color car. They don't make them for Firebirds, but I wanted them so bad that I actually made them!! Check my sig for pics.

I would imagine them looking great on your car. I have always been a fan of a smooth looking car; I hate things just standing out! I hated the amber blobs for turn signals, so I bought clears, and now the car looks smooth. I hated the red blobs for rear sidemarkers, so I cleared them out, and they looks smooth as well!

I think you are being paranoid about the ricer thing. Who have you asked if they look good? Diehard anti rice domestic guys? Of course they will hate anything clear; after all, imports did start this clear trend.
