  • Tinting windows

I'm thinking about doing it myself. How hard is it.
99 Pewter Metallic Firebird: Flowmaster 80 series. SOLD

side windows are not to hard, the rear is difficult at best. I would just save your pennies and pay to get it done right the first time.
Not to say you can't do it right.Get someone that can do the rear window in one piece, it looks much better.

I had my windows done professionally and it took the guy 3+ hours to do it. I don't even want to think what it would take for someone who had never done it before. I would much rather spend the little extra $$$ to have a pro do it. Should only cost 130$ or so and it's one of the best appearance mods you can do!

Just be careful when tinting yourself. Make sure you get the quality tint from a good source. Don't get Wal Mart or AutoZone/Napa tint. That sh*t will fade to purple in less than a year.

I've tinted many-a-windows and no job I've ever done has ever turned out as good as a professional tint job.

Pay the $ to have a good quality tint shop do it. Pay the money for the better quality tint (the shops advertise the cheapest/lowest price stuff to get you to come in).

I saved my money for a year before finally getting enough dough - It was worth the wait.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
