the thing that the wipers sit in, how do you take them off. the metal part, not the plastic part. mine are losing their paint and need a repaint. any help would be awesome. thx.

If you mean the wiper arm, it requires a special dealer tool to properly remove them. I borrowed one from my local NAPA store, they borrowed it from the local GM dealer. I tried other methods but it wouldn't come off.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com
