It's probably his 7th post as an old school veteran. Not 7 posts total.

Guys old school means I have been around long enough to be your father. Also I have owned and built 32 cars over the years. If you look back to the 50's and 60's hot rods were all lowered with flames and tuck and roll interiors with lots of chrome. Are they all rice. This is were hot rodding came from. His car has a retro look.
Think before you make a statement about rice and know what you are talking about.. To say something is retarded because it is a different point of view than yours only shows you don't have a clue.
The term rice has been around for many years. It started back in the 70's and means a car from Japan that engine runs on rice.

I totally agree with what you're saying, man. The car has a street rod flavor, something you'd find in HOT ROD magazine. But my original question was how did you get the "Old School Member" status under your name with so few posts, not what "Old School" is. But thanks for clearing it up

And Only4U, just because you have an opinion does not always mean it's the right one.

Part of it is my age. Second is the amount of car knowledge I have. Third I have posted thousands of times over the years. Not just here and under different names when changing computers or my email address. I know people here who are awear of the amount of knowledge I have.
Over the years I have worked on most areas of cars from engine rebuilds to painting cars to interiors. I have raced at the tracks since 1970. I still work on other peoples cars just not for the dealerships anymore. I put in 20 years at the dealership service departments. I spent another 7 years on the assembly line building cars. I hope this helps answer your question. All that said it is my age.

Aye, and thanks for posting you comment...perhaps that will get across to the people who cry "rice" all the time.
