Saturday night me and a couple of friends were parked talking where a bunch of people usually race, a cop came so we left to find another place to talk. I was close to the curb and as I was pulling out sharp to avoid hitting the car beside me I went over the curb. Looked at the back wheel no problems. Was walking to my car today and I noticed the front wheel...on the very outside of the rim close to the tire there are curb marks on it...most of it is just scratches not to deep but in a couple of spots it is a little deep...it's about a foot long wrapped around the wheel and about a centimeter wide....again very close to the wheel not on any of the 5 spokes just the lip as i guess it is called. There are pictures of it in my sig...My question what can i do hide it from my dad until I can get the rim replaced. Can I get just that portion replated or is there a chrome color paint that I can touch it up with? I just need to hide it from him for about 2 weeks or so then I can have it replaced. Any help/advice appreciated

i have actually heard of taking the wheel and putting it on the drive wheel with the rear end jacked up and getting the wheel spinning and sanding it down a bit. that probably wouldnt be the most inconspicious way to do it if youre trying to hide it though... and ive never tried it before so i dont know how well it would work
