• Tar cleaning tip

On my truck I've had tar accumulating at the bottom of my body panels, and for the most part it concreted to the paint.

So I broke out the clay bar, and after 2 hours my progress was minimal. I finally gave up and started experimenting, heres what I found; If you take detailing spray as a lubricant, and a credit card, the hardened tar comes right off. I guess the plastic is sharp enough to shear the tar off, but soft enough to not leave scratches.

ive also found that if you use a powerwasher set on high on the inside of the wheel wells all that crap comes off- dont hit the paint!

Use Wd-40 or silicone spray. Olive oil works well to.
