save yourself some time and money and just take it to an upholstry shop. I tried removing my cloth insert and ended up bending the top weather stip part(it has a metal rod in it) and now it looks all F'd up. A local guy quoted me 40 bucks to take it off and recover both sides in leather.

Have you considered simply dying the cloth with the panel attached to the door. Dyed my jungle cloth black, it was easy and inexpensive, and it looks good.

Within the next few days I will try to get my Cardonmain site updated. The pictures there now are about 8 months old and I have made a number of changes to both the exterior and the interior.

How good does the dye hold up? Does it tend to rub off on clothes after awhile or a hot day? Or does it dye the material more than paint it?
