  • W WEST fitment

i am about to order the Wings west W type kit 93-97, and was wondering if there were any fitment problems, for those who have it does it fit snug, i know i may need anchor screws, but other than that does everything else fit, and are you happy with yours?????

You need all the anchors you can get, I have that kit and have re-taped it 4 times. This last time seems to be holding up the longest. I called WW and asked them what should I do to make it stick better and they suggested an adhesive enhancer to be put on the areas that the double-sided tape will be stuck to, I haven't tried it yet but just giving you the heads up.

But the most important part is that it makes the car look sooo much better and is worth every re-sticking I've done. And as forming to the body part, it fits it perfectly.

It fits fine and looks awesome. The adhesive promoter is a must if you want it to stay on. I also put extra screws in the front and rear for good measure. One problem is the wings west air deflector that replaces the stock one is way too big even on a stock height car. I had to trim it several inches so it wouldn't scrape on every dip in the road. I'm not getting as much airflow to my radiator now but oh well.

Oh yeah newwayautosports.com has the best prices for brand new kits, but you might luck out and find a decent used one on Ebay for cheaper if you want.
