Lamborghini style doors

Does anyone know of a place that sells a kit to convert our doors to open up like a lamborghini? Has anyone ever seen this done on an F Body? I have seen it done on imports, and I would think it would be harder on their cars because of the full door that they have, we dont have the metal about our window tracks. Just an idea, I think it would look badass on our cars. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

check around over at ls1tech.com , there was a kit made by a company and it was like called Euro something, i forgot , but search for somethin like that over there

And when you do let me know. I also have a friend with a newer dodge stratus and he seems to be doing a lot of custom work. One of the things he is doing is he's making his hood open up from the top, kinda like the corvettes. We looked at it on my car and how he explained it, it doesn't look too hard to do. It might be something that i'll do in the future.

I was looking into the vette hood mod as well.. the parts from GM look to be about 180 bucks.. just a matter of if the hood is reinforced properly to be opened from the front instead of the back.. If you work it out, let me know... we can put a kit together and market it.. email me if you want to discuss more..

With any car that wants to do this, you're looking at several thousands of dollars. I'd spend it elsewhere [img]smile.gif[/img]

I called them, and they told me it only worked for the 3rd gen, and that it would only work on a 3rd gen with their $8000 kit!! I think they were trying to make a sale. Is there any other place out there that can make those kits?

callaway makes a body kit for 1993 - 1996 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird..
