I just put Torq Thrust II rims on my car and I changed the tires from 215/60 16's to 245/50 16's. When ever I go over a moderate sized bump the tires scrape. That is when it is only me in the car. When I carry one or two more people and have a full tank of gas it gets pretty bad. What is the best way to solve this problem?

The car hasn't been lowered and I know it's not the air dam. The tires stick out a good 1/2 inch from the body.2001 3.8L Firebird M5
Flowmaster 80 series,exhaust cutout,catco hi-flow cat,tbyrne WRA,whisper lid,K&N filter,BMR LCA\'s,Ram air H.O. hood,3.73 gears with LSD 17\" by 9 1/2\" TT2\'s
Rockford 300s with 2 12\" JL audio W3v2 subs and JVC HU

I've been reading some stuff on here and some guy said that he saw a Camaro with the same tires that stuck out. Did I get the wrong offset? I'm not even sure what that is but apparently other people have the same size tires that don't stick out at all and don't scrape.2001 3.8L Firebird M5
Flowmaster 80 series,exhaust cutout,catco hi-flow cat,tbyrne WRA,whisper lid,K&N filter,BMR LCA\'s,Ram air H.O. hood,3.73 gears with LSD 17\" by 9 1/2\" TT2\'s
Rockford 300s with 2 12\" JL audio W3v2 subs and JVC HU
