  • Tire problem

I just put Torq Thrust II rims on my car and I changed the tires from 215/60 16's to 245/50 16's. When ever I go over a moderate sized bump the tires scrape. That is when it is only me in the car. When I carry one or two more people and have a full tank of gas it gets pretty bad. What is the best way to solve this problem?

It does not make sense that 245's will scrape at all. Has the car been lowered?
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Maybe you have the wrong profile...? It looks right but who knows?

        Edit
BTW: The 245 doesn't mean crap...

The car hasn't been lowered and I know it's not the air dam. The tires stick out a good 1/2 inch from the body.

I've been reading some stuff on here and some guy said that he saw a Camaro with the same tires that stuck out. Did I get the wrong offset? I'm not even sure what that is but apparently other people have the same size tires that don't stick out at all and don't scrape.

What kind of offset do I need for the car?
