• Pictures of my RS

Well, I finally got off my butt and took some pictures of my pride and joy. Like most of you, I adore my car! Some of the pictures didn't come out as great as I had hoped.

Car looks great! Love the stripes. However, how do you classify that as an RS? there are no ground effects????? Just Curious. Did you just put the badges on there or did you take the GFX off? Just wondering......

Im pretty sure that is a true RS. The newer ones didn't come with any GFX. Nice car btw .

It's definitely an RS. The RS package for 2002 didn't offer ground effects. :( Actually, I ordered this car from the factory, and I couln't even order the ground effects package in conjunction with the RS package if I wanted to. I have no idea why. After it was built at GM, it was sent off to SLP so they could do their thing with it...stripes, dual exhaust, changed out the grill, RS suspension package and badging. I'm planning on adding GFX one day... The one thing I really like about my car is that you really don't see a lot of the newer RS's around, or at least where I live. The only other one I saw was on a dealer lot and it was navy blue with silver stripes. Didn't quiet move me like black on red.

Thanks for the comments. I'm hoping to get better pictures up in the near future. Don't know what happened this time.

                    Nice car. Looks real good!

I do think thats stupid though that they decided to change what RS means. All of the 4th gens RS ment appearence package and now they want it to mean performance, suspension? Oh well I guess thats a great thing about the F-body, variety. Guess I'll have to try live up to both meanings of the 4th gen RS now.
