bah stupid web accounts that don't allow remote linking

anyways they were the SLP 17" chrome WS6 style rims, wrapped in bfg comp t/a 275/40/zr17 meat

i think it cost me like 1675 for everything

i get LOTS of compliments saying these wheels fit the car perfectly. they look much better than the polished version w/ black centercaps

I saw a firebird with a set of chrome ZR1 17" rims, and it looked really good IMO. A friend of ours owns a Formula which is the exact same color your car is, and he wants to get some ZR1's as well. That is what I have on my car, although it is a 96 Camaro. The ZR1's may be common on SS camaros and corvettes, but you just don't see too many firebirds with them, so it might make your firebird a bit different from the rest.

The ultimate rims for firebirds, IMO, are the chrome 97 Firehawk rims. I love those!!

Check this page out: http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/appearance/

if you click on "firebird" and "wheels", it will give you a bunch of photographs of firebirds with all kinds of different wheels to choose from.
Hope that helps. :D

Find some used 17" Chromed Firehawk rims, or some Chromed Mustang Cobra rims, they look really good on F-bodies.

I also agree with the point that the Zr1 wheels look good on Firebirds. You don't see it too often. I'd say away with going crazy aftermarket looks. Stick with a GM look.

Your wheels look good, but I checked www.SLPOnline.com, and they only have Camaro SS 10 spoke and Firehawk wheels, no WS6 wheels.

hockeyman, best place to check is EBAY. I saw c5 rims (which look totally awesome) some for around 1200 there and they have a million and one different types.
