    does anybody know anywhere else to get this friggin hood for less $$$$$$... man $960 is alot...

    I don't know where else to find one, but man those things look friggin' sweet! I have been admiring them for quite some time but I agree they are priced pretty steep. I'm sure not many people have them as of yet, which would make it look extra cool.

        try suncoastcreations.com i think it the raptor hood with heat extractors. I wouldn't swear to this but i think i may have seen it there

          thanks sandman... i always check ebay sometimes theres cool stuff there but never anything THAT good... [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] thanks though i'll put up wtb at ls1.com and if anyone here has any access to one for less lemme know

            Magic - you missed his point.
            The Mecham hood and the "Raptor" are two different hoods.

              I am considering this hood! But, what happens with the rain and snow (some of us Firebird owners do not live in Florida, CA, or Texas!)

                Dennis (Mecham) is the only person you can get a new hood from....

                He make's 'em for the 93-up firebirds....

                the 93-97 has six extractors

                the 98+ has four

                And they are both SWEET!!!!
                I\'m getting too old to have to choke the **** out of you
