does anyone have reflective tinting on their car with some pics? Is it legal in california? iv'e already posted elsewere but they just tell me: check your local laws..blah. thnx for the input.

A4 :( ws6 hood, magnaflow cat-back, Pewter ppg paint, red calipers w/ decals, t-tops, chrome wheels, cutout, bald rear right tire (3.42 w/o lsd)
Tint is basically illegal in california, only the rear may be tinted at like 70%.
Thats the law anyways.
Mine was tinted 28% side/20% rear, looks great, was done in FL. Haven't gotten a ticket, going back to FL before I do :D
Most mirror tint is 100% illegal, and I think it doesn't look as stealthy as charcoal/black tint - plus it isn't as durable. Do what you want, most places that are good will do anything you want for cash - that way the police cant trace the tint.
Don't do mirror on a black car it looks like *** . In my oppinion all mirror tint does even on silver cars. I was gonna do it to mine but decided no because of the black tops and the trim around the back windown.

This is the best pic I have of the tint. I have the mirror tint and then a 15% behind it. So it reflects light and is dark at the same time [img]smile.gif[/img]

Me too! I want mine to have absolutly zero light showing through, do you have any ideas? I was thinking put 5% black on first, then the 5% mirror on next (mirror side facing down inside the car).
