  • Repainted the car! PICS -------->

I just got the car repainted to match the factory color it came in and holy **** does it look good now. Before the bumper was primed only and the stripes were brown from fading and there were a ton of scratches, now it's ALL gone and nothing but a lifetime warrantied paint job from a local shop!!

            cut and paste

looks great!! is that a T/A or did you do a front clip conversion? Also, what did they charge you for the full paint job matching original color?

btw.... those shots are convincing me to remove the moldings.

Thanx a lot for the compliments! It's a 97 v6 firebird but I bought the trans am front bumper to replace my v6 bumper before having it painted. Cost me a little over $1000 for the whole car except the doors, they didnt need to be repainted only recleared, and it has a lifetime warranty as long as I own the car. I was pretty happy with the price! Here's another pic showing off the removed body side moldings and just a standard rear view as well, there are no exhaust tips visible, they are dual turndowns painted flat black coming from a black Hooker Aero Chamber catback so you can't see it well, I liked it better with the v6 rear bumper when there were no tips sticking out. I'll be posting a video soon of the car starting up, launching, and cruising too to show people what the Hooker catback sounds like with full 3" system and carsound 3" highflow cat and intake on.

You could barely see the tips in the pic and for some reason it was weird looking so I edited them out since they'll be gone within a week for some black tucked under turndowns instead, don't like the tips I have now. Other than that, no picture mods were done, just the tips gone. Thanx for the compliments!
