Just wondering...has anyone used the park it in the sun till it's hot and then put dry ice on it trick?
Just curious..I have some hail dents on my hood that you can't see unless you look for them. But I know they are there and I see them every time I look at it!!!!
I've always heard the dry ice thing works on dimples...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: \"WOW!!!!, what a ride!\"
Am I reading this right? Get the body panel as warm as possible, then put dry ice on a small dent and it should pop out? There are a few hail dents on the Camaro that would be nice to remove.
1996 Camaro w/ Y87 package. T-Tops, purple, loaded. Custom painted salad-shooters with Mirage paint.

(It\'s my girlfriends car!)
Yeah...I guess the idea behind it is that heating it up expandes the metal. Then the supercold of the dry ice quickly contracts it causing the dent to pop out.(Theoretically)
Science class now dismissed!!! :D

I have a small dent I would like to get out also. Neighbor hit it in the side with a rock while he was mowing his grass, still won't even confess. Would it be too hard to make it work on a rear quarter panel? Where exactly can you get dry ice?
Well, some female hit my rear quarter panel with her rear end and dented my quarter panel also without scratching the paint. Praxair sells dry ice, I believe in small quantities by mail order http://ecatalog.praxair.com/storelocator/usdi.html
A lot of the time you can get dry ice from an ice cream place. I know I can get some from a Baskin Robbins store. CHeck your yellow pages for dry ice...

Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
