i've heard its really hard to tint your own windows. i would just find someone to do it cause if you mess up and have someone do it in the end. it will cost about double to have them romve the ****ty job you did. just a thought before you try it yourself
Side windows aren't that bad as long as you get the static tint. Just hold it on the outside of the window, cut to fit, spray on a little sopy water and get the bubbles out. The major problems on our cars is the back window.
The back window is a PITA and if your not a pro then you WILL mess it up. I wanted to do the sides myself and have the back professionally done but I'm getting all of it professionally done so it's done right and guarenteed.
\"Well, we don\'t care how bad-*** some dude\'s N/A Honda S2000 motor is; if you go up against 900+ pushrod ponies and 750 pounds of earth-shaking torque with a wrong-wheel-drive econobox, you\'re gonna get a fast and furious old-school ***-whipping.\"
well make sure you dont buy the crap at autozone i have a friend that does tinting for a living and he says that crap is not even close to the cheapest stuff they put on cars
LOL thats why rice bruners put it on theres
Its so hard to do on any window that isnt flat. Hell, I have seen cars with *purple* looking tint that is bubbly on FLAT windows. Either they didnt know what they were doing (or didnt know how to use a squeegee) or their tint was really old or something.
Anyways if you do it yourself it might not be that bad... I did on my old car and had a problem with it around the top edge of the window or wherever its got those black dots- it doesnt want to stick there very well...
You will definately need a VERY sharp exacto knife.
