    My dash piece by the windshield cracked the other day, SO I just bought one on ebay nd was wondering how to put it in? Also dont use armoral(sp)

      Sweet, so I just pop the old one out? Snap the new one in?

        The guy I bought it from said I had to take the a pillar plastic peices to put the dash thing in or I will crack it.

          Yeah, the plastic pillar's have to be pulled in order to remove the dash, but they come off with ease, and the new dash is a 5 minute job. GM did something right and made that easy on us...finally!

            Do I just yank the pillars out or what?

              My car has t-tops, and there is a screw or two at the top of the pillar(s) with the t-top removed. After the screw(s) is removed, the pillar just pops off. There are little crappy plastic thingy's holding them secure to the frame. They just pop out/in.
              Zap me on the nextel and I'll explain it better. It really easy though.

                  Hey, if I found that dashpiece that he mentioned from a 99 Firebird and tried to put it in my 98 Camaro... would it snap in and fit like the old one?
