I have a billion swirl marks on my BLACK camaro and i want to get them out. I tried a swirl remover by hand but it didn't seem to work, there still there.
So i was wondering how safe is it to buy a buffer and buff it in my self. I have no expirence with buffing at all so i'm not to sure if i should do it. I heard there is a chance u can wreck u clear coat if u do it wrong, is that true?
Any advice would be helpful thx.
You do not buff a black car, the swirl marks will get worse. Use a cleaner wax, that should get rid of the swirls.

i've used a power buffer on mine a couple times. didn't do anything really. and i've used cleaner waxes a few times and didn't help with swirls at all. my entire front end is being replaced though, so it's all going to be new paint. and that will look retarded having a lot of swirls on the back half and none on the front, so i'm thinking about saving up and repainting the back later on.

I did that for almost 3 years, I worked for a detail shop that had a contract with carmax.

I use NXT wax and an orbital buffer to take it off, very easy, and i have had no expirence, and the best part is that there are virtually no swirl marks!
