• Painting gfx cost?

Well if I ever get a gfx kit for my car, how much does it usually cost to get it painted? My car is white...if that makes any diff. Also would this be something I could install myself? Thanks.

it all depends on the coplexion ( if thats a word ) of the gfx and where you go...

coplexion . The only gfx I would put on my car would be the Xenon one...and I just want some kind of ball park estimate.

I think he means how complicated it is to match the new paint to the paint already on your car. That is what is gonna make it cost more.

oh lol....I thought you meant a graphic on the side of your car, stupid me....but ya it is hard to match the paint on our cars according to every body shop Ive been too...only problem is the paint from the body shop is better so its not gonna fade as much...Im gonna have that prob with my hood...mines in the shop now after an accident....to paint the gfx prolly 400-500$ I guess depending where you go....bring it to mako and it'll be like 20$ not the best quality though ;)

As for your previous question, I got my done at a local racing shop in Sacramento called Red Line Performance. Its a good idea to go to the small, local shops cuz they are specialized in what they do. Dont go to a body shop.

haha, $500 for a maaco paint job?? Those ppl are crazy, how are they still in buisness...

Anyway, thanks Tony for the help. It sucks that there's really no small shop around here to take my car to. :(
