any suggestions? i bought one of those suction cup things, but the dents are too small for that thing to work. they are about like marble size hail damages...very minute, but they bother me, and they are all on my passenger side rear quarter panel and i have not a clue where they came from or how long they've been there. one stuck out though in the light the other day and then i looked closer and saw all the others. suggestions please...

well, i got a story...i called around and found a guy that does paintless dent repairs. he charged me $35 to do that whole rear quarter panel. he took about 30 minutes and took out 7 dents in that time. it was awesome. there are still very minute cresces where he used tools to punch the dents out, but other than that, it was absolutely remarkable and WELL worth the money i spent. i'm very happy now 2000 NBM M6 Camaro Z28
323/335

I also heard you could use dry ice to pop out dents. Just blow dry the spot till it's really warm and then take some dry ice (-wrapped in a newspaper- that stuff burns!) apply it to the dent and *pop* no more little dent. Never tried it myself but everyone I've talked to says it works great.2001 Firehawk #155 of 504 -M6
437 RWHP / 404 RWTQ -Dynojet (heads/cam)
12.34 @114 mph 1.7 60\' (bolt-ons only)
12.47 @116 mph 2.0 60\' (street tires, heads/cam)

hail damage is a completely different story from a car door opening and hitting your car. not sure exactly why, but it has a lot to do with the impact. when a car door dings your body, it leaves a strait crease, or an aligned creased. when hail hits your car, it leaves a round "dimple" (so to speak) and cannot just be "popped" out, it actually has to be rounded on all sides and then worked to the center of the dent, extremely time consuming work. i asked the guy today that worked on my car how much he charges to get a car with complete hail damage to get fixed (meaning hail damage is everywhere on the car) and he said anywhere from $2000 to $5000. so from now on, BE CAREFUL about knowing when it's hailing or not, you don't want that to happen to your car.2000 NBM M6 Camaro Z28
323/335

ok, so i watched the guy at dent wizard take them out of my car. you should be able to get to the back of that panel. they had a stiff metal rod with a rubber cap tight on the end. they also had a stationary floursent light source to see it more easily (thats the trick they said). Then take the capped end of the metal stick and rub the dent out with it. thats all the guy did.

if you have full coverage, running over a rock is covered by insurance. anything is covered by insurance. the problem with insurance is that:
a. you have a deductable, small if you pay a lot of $$ a month.
2. you will wind up paying more a month if the insurance company has to pay too much out of their pocket.
i COULD have told the insurance guys about my dents and got an appraiser come out and look and make his own estimate. since my deductible is $500, then they would have given me nothing, unless he saw that damage as over $500, then i would have gotten whatever was left after $500 was subtracted from. also, if my insurance companies pays over $1000 on ANY suit, regardless of if it's my fault OR if i get in a hit and run and i want them to fix it, then my insurance goes up every month. can be anywhere from $10-$100 a month increase as well, just depends on how much $$$ they fork up. it's hard to play an insurance company right, and i don't mean that in an illegal way; i've played them before and gotten well over $700 out of it because i knew what i was doing and also didn't want what was "supposed" to get fixed, fixed; but they write me a check and then i do what i want to with it, and they know that... since hail damage is so expensive, if you go to the insurance company, they will pay for everything minus deductible, but the price per month your insurance will go up--it will be more worth it to just pay for all the hail damage right then. but, that's kind of like a loan with a bank, you may not have the money to pay for it all at once, so basically you are getting a loan from the insurance company, and their interest is what you pay to be an insurance client for them over the course of the next few months/years.2000 NBM M6 Camaro Z28
323/335
