no and no...wth are you talking about..

You will not get pulled over for black outs.

You can Easily see your brake lights.

I'm guessing AllTheGoodNamesAreGone is pro altezza's..

Explain how they look 'cheap'? Do altezza's look expensive to you?

I am pro Neither of the above.. IMO they all look like crap.. leave your rear lenses alone..

IMO I would never put altezza's on my car.. or any car.. they look cheep.. and are never bright enough..

and yes.. blackouts make it much more difficult to see your lights.. during the daytime its the worst.. a friend of mine had a pair a while ago.. but fortunatly they were taken care of when he got reareneded.. "I wonder why?"

plus theyare illegal in most states.. and even if they arnt.. they are not worth the hassle...

I've had mine for about a year and a half and have never been pulled for them.

edit: if you check the pics in my sig you can see that the tail lights are clearly visible during the day, and nobody was pressing the brakes either...

Been pulled over at least 6 times and have never even been talked to about them. They make my car look good in my opinion....look at my website for pics.

If you don't think that looks better than stock I don't know what you've been smoking

To answer the question, they're perfectly street legal. I've never been pulled over because of them and never had them brought up when a cop was picking apart my car.

if youre accenting your car in black, then blackouts work very well. if youre just sticking them on there with a bunch of other random appearance mods then it will look cheap. and if you go blackouts, black out (or clear) all your colored lights... (sidemarkers .... both sets, and 3rd brake light) to give a more uniform look. The legality of this is another issue alltogether.

i wish i was still in the 80's, minus the spandex :D

& blackouts definitly make your brake lights harder to see, but not by much. that's what friends who drive behind me have said...but they do look damned good imo

                            DEF make it look better.

even tho i lost one on the highway :(

the f-body lights are bright enough that you can see them fine with the blackouts on. if you have factory dim lights, and blackouts, youll get pulled over. but the f-body lights are bright, and easy to see through the blackouts.

                            youll be fine.
