Im sure youve all seen the newer monte carlo SS's with the #3 Dale Earnhardt black paint w/ silver ground effects. I wonder how this would look on my RS? If yall havent seen my RS, its black with silver racing stripes. I was thinking of painting my ground effects silver. Gimme some opinions on how yall think this might look. Thanks....
Back when I was thinking of custom paint work for my car I had the same idea for the ground effects.But I couldn't find any pics of a 4th gen RS with that kind of paint job.I think it would look cool if the ground effects were a solid silver then fade to black 1/4 way up the door.Kind of like the Maco Shark Corvette back in the 70s.
It'd look something similar to this. Just a quick photo chop so it's not an exact match with the stripe color, but that should show you what it looks like.
