I have an article in Super Chevy that shows this being done to a 4th gen Camaro. They used door popper solenoids to open the doors by remote keychain. I would like to do this. They used fiberglass filler in the empty handle space. They smoothed it out and painted over it. I think it would look awesome.

Many have an emergency release somewhere under the car. Kinda like the hood release. If you lose power, you pull the release lever and the door opens. That is why you need an alarm along with the shaved handles/solenoids ;)
