does anyone know if it is possible to swap the instrument cluster to a 2000 Z28 Camaro into a V-6 '98 Camaro? If so, are there any modifications need to be made?

yeah..you will need to buy a module to correct the tach. Do a Search..

NO....it must be from a 98. Certain signals are different and you must get a tach calibrator. I did it on my 98 and wasn't able to get a 99 V8 Cluster into it. The signals were all screwed up. Search and you can find a picture of before and after.
