  • Chrome Decals

Hey, I already used the search forum for these, and I couldn't find any pictures, so I need to post this.

I am planning on putting the logos on the Firebird door panels, headlight cover, front license plate cover, and rear inserts to silver, I've decided, but I like a more shiny silver, so I figured chrome might be the way to go.

I've also heard they scratch very easy, and I do not want that, and I also don't want something that looks TOO bling blingy...but something that stands out, and people can see clearly from a little bit away.

I dont know if this makes sense, but I'm trying. For those of you with silver/chrome logos on your car, can you post some pics and where you got them from?

    Thanks again guys.

Metallic Silver...at www.autografics.com. Got all my decals from them, and I think they have a 7 year warranty or something.

        Hey, Word of advice....
I bought the rear inserts, the filler panel overlay and the doors and headlight one and ive had issues with them, the headlight door embossed letters are rounded but the sticker is 2D, it will peel around the edges and when you wash it, it will continue to peel until it looks like crap. the firebirds on the door, they too were too big and the edges got dirt under them and washing and scrubbing or even daily run over with the california duster caused them to tear and peel, just today i tore all of them off except the rear end stickers, the PONTIAC insert on the back looks REALLY nice, but i recommend finding some actual metal ones and not just stickers...the trunk panel ones are still on but did not match up completely so Im just going to paint the filler all black....should look alot better like that...ive removed all the side molding from the doors including the embossed firebird letters and i kinda like it better, although its not really that big of a difference....

You should just wetsand the back filler rather then paint it. Much easier.

Where would I find the metal ones? And where's the best company to order the silver or chrome from?

I found this picture of someone with the reflective decals. Anyone think these are nice (they said the white can pass as a light silver), or should I go with the chrome?

I'm really torn, as I think those look absolutely amazing. I hope people don't think they look too ricey though. I don't want the windshield banner, just for the moldings on the car.

the black and orange combo is a bit too flashy for me. i think i would get tired of it fast. but hey, you know what they say.... if you like it... ;)

Hey Smiley...you can ask them to send you a preview. They will send you what Basic, Metallic, and Reflective samples so you can get a better idea of how things would look. They're very good people.

I wasnt planning on buying THOSE ones, but they say that they have a light white that passes as a light silver, and they look like that in red, only they are white/light silver. Do you think that having my front license plate, two doors, rear filler, firebird+bird on taillight panel, and headlight filler would be too much shiny silver?
