  • Another example of the durability of Zaino... (pics over 2.5 month period)

For the quick version jsut click this link

Now here is the longer detailed version.

alright, biggest 2 things I hear about zaino is

    1) It costs too much
    2) There is too much work involved.

Cost, yeah its expensive, but I am cheap and ghetto and think its well worth the value.

    As for "too much work"

pfft... no way this is the easiest stuff in the world to use!

Goes on easy, comes off easy, lasts freaking forever.

Before I begin. My car is Navy Blue Metallic, so a very dark color and a 100% outside car in wonderful sunny/rainy/polleny Orlando, Florida.

First I will start at the begining... I did a 1.5 day detail of my car, sounds like alot, jsut really means I didn't use my car for 1.5 days, I pretty much put on a coat of Zaino and let it sit and bond, I used ZFX, and people tell me I went overboard and I only had to wait about 20 mintues if that long, but I had my dad's vette while my car was being polished so..... I figure let the polish bond to the car ;) I woudl put a coat on went shoppng with girlfriend came home took coat off, used Z6 put next coat on watched TV.... just spaced the coats out.

Pics from 2nd time ever applied to the car on February 14th weekend

Now these are some pics I took about a 1-1.5 months later. I just did a normal wash and dry routine, no polish applied, jsut a 20 mintue wash and dry job.

Now these are some pics I took liek 2-3 weeks later jsut a hose off, no wash, no dry, jsut hose and a quick drive... I did paly with some camera effects though.

People say Zaino is so much work but this is the darkest colored car I have owned and since I used zaino its been easier to cleand and keep clean.

BTW my rims, I Zaino the piss out of them too in January, brake dust wipes off with your hand, haven't used a chemical once to clean them other then the same stuff I am using to wash the car with.

your car does look good though man. I liked some of the backgrounds you've got the car in. Nothing like that here. I could take the car to DC and snap a few but homeless people dont want their pics taken :/

I post the pics of people that tell me that zaino is too much work for a car. But then go and post hte wax their car every 2 weeks. I am on the I wax my car once every 3 months route.

Just showing my results. I have owned 4 differnet cars Silver, white, Quaser blue and now NAvy Blue Metallic. This should be the hardest car to keep clean but its been the easiest.

People don't take 100s of people's word on it so I post pics. Only wish there was a way for people to feel how smooth it feels. Kid I know with a maxima been talking crap about how zaion is worth the work for months... After repeatedly coming to car meats my car looking good every week, and feeling smooth. He is saving up and switching over.

btw, even if you don't like how it looks on the car, I highly reccomend using it on rims. See if a friend will let you use some for a few bucks. I have yet to use any wheel cleaning chemical on my zr1s that have been on my car since january. Only washed the car 3 times with them on the car. The dirt comes right off with the sponge and soap water I am using to clean my car. Way better then scrub brushess and armour all style cleaners...

and like the jokes you guys make, If they farted in a vile and sold it has Z20 car air freshner, I would buy it to try it out and see if it was good, just by the wonderful work they have done with all their other products.

are you a promoter for zaino? lol, I see you posted this on CZ28.com as well. I actually was going to buy this 3 yrs ago with my friend and split the cost. I'm not really impress with the shine. But since you keep posting this and I can afford to buy it by myself nowadays, I am going to get some. Happy??? lol Actually, I wash my car less often nowadays, and since you mentioned the durability...that got my attention. I will do half my car with Zaino, and the other half with a big name wax. I will post pics later on and see if anyone can see the difference. I know I will do half and half on the hood and next time I wash my car, I will see which other panels to mix it up with. Or maybe one door or/and qtr panel Zaino, the other door or/and qtr panel with regular wax....we'll see....

Sounds good f1gt. Let your car go through the trial and possibly look weird for a while so we can know fo sho if Zaino is really "worth it". i dont see it as really being that much better but i have been known to be wrong... quite often actually.
