• New Car Care Product

It's called the "Miracle Rag". It is a rag that is used with water to dust off your car. It may seem like a bad idea, but it really works. Both The Sandman and I use it, and we both like it very much so. The idea seems shaky at first, but it's really not that hard to see what an easy and great product it is once you use it.
You take the miracle rag, rinse it in warm water and wring out as much of water as possible. Then, you simply dust your car off. Fold it in half twice as you do the car, and refold as you go around the exterior of your car. If necessary, re-wet it. Of course if your car is really dirty, we suggest you wash the car. The idea is to dust off, not completely turn around a filthy car.

For example, I use it when it rains so my car doesn't get water spots.
This summer, I didn't wash my car once. I still haven't. It works in my favor because some parts of my state are in a drought. This keeps my car clean.
I'm sure that I am more picky about my car than 99% of members on this site, so I'm positive that everyone who uses it properly will like and enjoy it as much as I do.

Sounds pretty good. My car usually never really gets dirty. Of course she gets dusty the minute Im done washing her. This miracle rag sure could come in handy so I wont have to wash her every couple days. I'd like information about it but I tried the link but it didnt work. :(

Seems like Hypermart (the server) is down.
I'll switch servers as soon as possible!

I don't understand why people always get in touch with me, or post questions - yet nobody has enough faith to believe when I try to tell them about a new product.
That isn't cool.

Well, the lack of response is probably due to the lack of info. The website doesn't show anything yet. And the descriptions that are there don't say much about what it's made of or how it works. Do you know what it is made from? It is a little questionable to state that it is non-scratch when people are going to get dirt from a slightly dirty car on it and drag it all over their paint.

The other thing that might be hurting you, is that the only people who have seen/used it and are pushing it, also happen to be distributors who stand to make money off of it. By no means take this comment the wrong way, as I don't hope to insinuate any improper business activity, but until I hear some more reviews of it from people who aren't on the vendor side of things, I won't risk it.

quote:
This product can help you reduce your cleaning time drastically, all you have to do is wipe clean. No more worrying with the hoses, or mixing soap up, then washing your car and having to dry it properly. Not only does this product free up a lot of time for you, it doesn't leave any kind of residue or streaking behind like other products, and doesn't cause small scratches or swirl marks because it's non-abrasive.

Also, this quote from the site seems to contradict you statements about the intended usage. Is it just for dusting like you mentioned, or is it for washing as the statements about no need for mixing soap/washing/drying imply.

Thanks for the comments. The site is a work in progress.
The towel is a microfibre one. And the 'no soap no hose' thing means you won't have to worry with them anymore. You don't really need to with it.
This is a new product so it isn't going to be pushed, because it hasn't been purchased by many.

I know how you feel about the capabilities. I was very much against it before I was sent one. However it did change my mind.
I know that you have a very good amount of knowledge about car care, as well as what to do. I use only the best for my car, and this gets my approval. We've agreed on several things before, so wouldn't you be willing to at least try this one product?

If you want to send me one, I would gladly try it(not on my car, but maybe an unsuspecting vehicle in a parking lot somewhere ;) ) Then I could provide some feedback for the site.

Oh, and although I won't be sending any money before I see some more info and reviews, it might help to see a price somewhere to get an idea what it will cost for this new towel.

So what does it do for me that a wet towel/dry towel combo can't?

Backfire - send me an email.
Dominic - it won't scratch, leave swirl marks, etc.
