Aight as the topic states I need the hard core appearance peoples opinions on some stuff. I've been lookin at neons and cant decide what color to get(Blue or Green) because i have a Teal Firebird....but i have recently founda few pics of turquoise neons and they look pretty good but i'm havin a hard time finding them....so what u guys think go with green or blue, or can soemone tell me a good place to find turquoise(already looked on major site like streetglow.com n such there too expensive..and ebay only has them sometimes)
thanks guys....
well it depends on how many lights u want and what size u want. If u can find the ones u want off ebay then go get them. I got green ones in my car and i love the color. I even find it hard to find green neons in stores by me, i only find red blue and purple. Its a hard call
I think the blue neons would be pretty illegal since cops also use that blue color. The turquoise sounds really nice however if you can't find them or if money is an issue, I think you should go with white or purple.

Looking for neons, you do mean the lighting and not the Dodge car, aren't you? ;)
I found some Blue or Aqua (but I didn't see any turquoise) on http://www.jcwhitney.com; uh, Two 4-ft tubes and two 3-ft for $159.

Just because they're illegal doesn't mean you can't have them. It's probably pretty easy to put a switch to turn them on and off (there are some wireless neons i've seen on ebay also). Neons are only illegal if you're running them while you're driving around town/highway, etc.
Nothing is wrong with having them on while you're at the gas station on Friday trying to impress somoe people
no offense greg...but most of the people around here get laughed at by pretty much everybody for their neons...they don't impress me at all. I would say no neons at all, there are plenty of other things that you can spend that money on your car appearance/mod wise that will impress people a lot more than your glowing car would. just my .02 cents.
im not saying dont get them cause there illegal, i got them and i drive with them on, u just got to know where the line is drawn. Just dont put the lights up on your dash where u can easily see them, put them low and you wont have a problem.
well thanks everyone...might end up goin through JCWhitney, and legality not much of aproblem for me i dont plan on puttin them on and driving around all the time but i do plan on using them if i'm out with friend and in parking lots and such like that.and yea i'm gonna wire a sitch no cig lighter for me :D
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
