how do i remove the old ones and put on the new ones on my door?
i heard before to use fishing line or something like it to pull off the letters, but how do i clean off the adhesive and put on the new ones?

heres how i did it... get a hair dryer, fishing line, goo gone (can be found at walmart, home depot etc), and something plastic like a phone card or an ice scraper (i used an ice scraper). heat up the first letter for ~30 seconds or so use the fishing line to saw off the letter. then heat the black adhesive some more and use the plactic object to scrape the big clumps off (if you don't press to hard you have nothing to worry about as far as scratching it, i didn't leave one scratch with the ice scraper). after you've done all the letters like that, heat up the whole area just a bit, and use the goo gone and a paper towel to remove all the excess adhesive. it's really not too hard, by the second side i had my technique down just keep it warm with the hair dryer and it goes alot easier. good luck

it's really easy to put the new ones on, make sure you mark where the other letters were (i used a soft lead pencil to mark the top and side) so you know where the new ones go. they come with their own adhesive. just make sure they's straight, and stick er on. you could probably use some soapy water on the adhesive to make it not stick, then when you get it straight use the hair dryer to dry and set it. i just stuck mine on. good luck and if you've got any other questions just ask

Here's what I did:

http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ulti...c&f=5&t=003045

As far as placement, I measured where the old ones were before removing and then used some masking tape to makr where the edges of the new ones go.
