I don't like SLP ultra Z hoods. I don't like cowl hoods either. I think they look silly. Thanks for the referral to that site though. I don't want to install a factory SS spoiler because I would be posing.
I like the RS spoiler, but I can't justify paying that much for one. I would never pay more than like $150 for a spoiler.
I think hood 1 is gonna be the winner.

quote:
Originally posted by sixbang: forget all those hoods i wouldnt take any of those if they were given to me.well even if i did have a camaro.Hood 1 is just stock you know?or at least people will think it is most likely.Hood 2,stock firebird-youd be posing.hood 3,ewe.what the f**k were they thinking when they designed that horrific mistake? if you want the **** you got to get the ultra z hood it is so nice!!!! it kind of mixes it all up you know?unfortunately i dont know where to send you to get one but im sure someone here does.also if you want a spoiler with no gfx-theres two you can go with.1)stock rs type 2)i think they call it nascar style its like an exagerated stock rs its flush but goes up there prett good it looks the best i think but its ultra rare.i wish i knew where to send you for this stuff i hate to leave you wondering but the truth is i simply dont know.If i had a camaro i would but im sorry......

All this hating is coming from a person that don't even have a Camaro? I dont think its right for you to be like this posing and all that stuff when you don't even own a Camaro.. For one thing that hood came stock on a SS not every Camaro, and another its not posing if you get a ram air hood that looks like the ones they have for Birds because he isnt saying that he is a bird or badging it with Firebird.. But whatever...
i wasnt hating i was just simply saying those were the veiws people were going to have and as far as all my coments about actory stuff all i meant was if it were me i would go out of my way to be as original as possible and stray from factory stuff if possible because there will be a lot of people with it.and come on-did you see hood #3?they make that same for a firebird and i liked it untill i saw it person and oh my god!!it just looks tacky it doesnt mach it throws off the whole car and actually i do own a 96 camaro rs i just meant i didnt have a customized camaro because i have never mdified it-my firebird gets the whole budget and when its done(if ever) ill start on my camaro
hmmm..i just read my previous post and i just realized i did say i didnt have a camaro-but i do.i dont know what i was thinking lol sorry if youre all confused i dont know why i said that i honestly have no idea
Alright, I can understand that you would want to stay away from stock but if you think about it his car didnt come with that stuff so it would be stock you know?

I'm just kidding loochy.
But seriously, the poll has clearly shown that hood 1 is the winner. I will put in an order for it in the next couple weeks. I already have SLP undercar ram air, but I think that giant scoop will provide valuable cooling.

Can you make a ****ing sentence. They are called periods, and have you heard of the SHIFT key...its makes letters capitalized. BTW....those aren't the views people will have...just you. Hood #1 isn't stock by a long shot...way to wide and ugly.

Stock hoods are Fiberglass no matter what people tell you...every body part but the quarterpanels are fiberglass. If you don't believe me look on ebay for a SS hood from a Camaro...they usually have one that has been in a wreck and have pictures of where an edge has broken off.
98 Bright Red Camaro
Too many mods to list....check my website
Since you said to pick one I would say number one. But if I was gettin a diff hood for my 98 camaro I would go with this one. suncoast creations z style hood
Try to find that hood on ebay and BTW I am not a fan of the spoiler. But if you like it then go for it.

I vote for #3. Like it or not, that hood stands out in a crowd, unlike the others. I like it on that red car in the pic!
