I ran a search, couldnt find anything. someone messed up my car pretty good. they put a foot radious dent in my drivers side quarter pannel (removed already), killed my front spoiler and i dont got money to fix it yet, and egged it. well i saw the egg at 7 am but i was already almost late for work so i washed it off pretty good that nite. i just finished washing/waxing my car last nite (about 2 weeks later) and i can still see egg spots. i tried everything and cat get them off but they havent ate through yet, there still "above the paint." it feels like i can scratch em out but cant.

Eggs are a good way to mess up your paint. If you think you got the majority of it off, try washing the area (if not the rest of the car) with dish detergent. Be advised, this will strip every bit of wax you have on the car, so be willing and ready to re-wax. I'm not sure but you might want to try a claybar. Zaino sells them cheapest, 2 for 17 bucks. Other companies make them, but I stick with just the best.

well that happened to me abot 4 months ago, I scrubbed it real good but still had some egg spots left over. The only thing that got rid of them was time, it took about a month but the stains went away, you know after all those storms, car washes, etc. If you can't get it off now, just wait, I am sure it will go away in a couple of weeks just like in my car.

Motor Trend suggested white vinegar and warm water solution (50/50 mix) on a terrycloth towel. Leave it on the area for 10 minutes, then carefully scrape off the residue with a fingernail or credit card.

            Be careful.

Same thing with my car too. I had bird poo on it, and after washing and waxing it, I still saw the stains of the poo on the hood. After about a month or so, they disappeared.

Are you sure that they are above the paint? Could it be that the clear has been effected and the stain is actually a discoloring of the clear? I know that the acids in bird bombs can "eat" at the clear. If left to long, it will etch the clear. The only way to get rid of it then would be abrasives. The vinegar solution works well to remove stubborn water spots, but once in the clear coat, it won't do much.

Anytime you get something like eggs or other fine food products such as cold cuts, or bird sh!t, clean them up as soon as possible. These things don't take much time to leave spots, especially when left in the sun.

get some 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper and some rubbing compound or swirl remover. lightly sand the area with the sandpaper and then buff it out with the rubbing compound. you'll only be taking a little of the clear coat off, but that's what you want to do to get rid of the damaged coat.

Good job! I live in apartments where I can sit on the roof and see my car in the lot. I've seen kids throwin' rocks at the cars before, so I plan on sittin' on the roof with my paintball gun. I'm a pretty good shot, so I don't think anyone'll mess with the car. Mischief night should be a firing range
