• Rear bumper swap?????

A guy here in my home town wrecked his Trans am
and I told him if he would sell parts from it. He said it was at a wreaking yard and needed $300
to get it out. So he said he'd sell me the hatch and the rear bumper for that price. lol I took more than I was suppost to. Any who, I had a problem removing the rear bumper, but I did it. Now the problem is removing mine from the firebird and swaping it with the tran am one with out messing up the original. Has any one done this them self??? Body shop charges me $100 and would I need some type of bumper hardware???

I agree! Man, you're lucky... I wish that the salvage yards around here would have something that I wanted!

Already ask for it but it was a front hit.
The front is almost totaled. They were going
to take the engine out to see if it worked.
But I want the rear end from it posi trak, 3.42 gears, and rear disk brakes. another $300 for
that, but im going to ask $200 for it.
Need help with the bumper though.

You could find out the P/N for the Bumper Hardware at a GM deaer, then go to GM Parts Direct and get the hardware for a fraction of the dealer cost.

Even if you have a body shop do this (I sure would) you will still be saving a BOATLOAD of money.
