front plate cover

I have to put my front license plate on due to a ticker and nagging parents :mad: but i know there is still a clear or smoked cover you can put over the license plate...anyone know where to get these?

Im not sure where you can get those covers from, but instead of putting the plate directly on the front of your car, you could try to put it on your air dam below the car so it wont be as noticeable. Ive heard of lots of ppl getting away with that.

i was thinkin about it but ive seen these smoked covers and i like the way they look better then putting it on the air dam...i dont know why. but thanks for the advice [img]smile.gif[/img]

I got mine from K-Mart it is pretty dark they also have clear ones. Maybe wal mart has them too but I have not noticed if they do.

wiat, kmart sold you the front license plate with the bird logo on it? or was it just the same shape but clear?

i have a tinted black one on my back license plate.
i bought it @ pep-boys for like $6.00. it's a hard plastic and its pretty durable in the back.

it's illegal on the back though, but i've only been told that by 1 state police officer, and i still haven't got rid of it yet.

I have one of their blemished ones. You cant even tell its blemished. Just tell them it will be clear, and they will send you a decent one. THey have 2 types: ok, for clear, and really bad, good only for painting.

ya know what would be cool, to paint it the color of your car, except for the firebird part, then have like a colored neon inside, so you would have a glowing bird.

My idea probaly wont help you with your parents, but id say get it, cuase its the next best thing.

No bird logo just tinted. I also have been told that its illegal on the back by the cops but I stil have it. Kinda funy how they bring up the license plate cover and not the 4%limo tint all around [img]smile.gif[/img]
